The Lore: A Saga of Spiritual Power
“Sagar ko Kuze mein bhara…”
(He filled the Ocean into a tiny Cup…)
In the world of Sufi Qawwali, a “Dastan” is more than just a song—it is an oral history passed down through generations. For the Urs of 2025, Bella Fusion presents our most ambitious project yet: a 15-minute cinematic journey through the life and miracles of Sultan-ul-Hind, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A).
While most Qawwalis focus only on praise (Manqabat), this track revives the ancient art of Waqia-Nigari (Musical Storytelling). We travel back in time to 12th Century Ajmer, witnessing the arrival of the Saint who changed the spiritual map of India forever.
The Miracles Featured in This Track
This composition is divided into 4 Chapters, each covering a famous historical miracle (Karamat):
- The Arrival (Greenery): Legend says when Khwaja Sahib arrived, the land was dry and barren. With one prayer, the parched earth turned green, symbolizing the arrival of spiritual life.
- The Cow & The Milk: A poor cowherd passed by with young, barren calves. When Khwaja Sahib asked for milk, the cowherd hesitated. But upon the Saint’s command, the young calves miraculously produced enough milk to fill 40 water-skins (Mashk).
- The Ana Sagar Incident (The Main Event): Jealous of his popularity, the local rulers banned Khwaja’s followers from taking water from the massive Ana Sagar Lake. In response, Khwaja Sahib gave a small earthen cup (Kasa) to a follower. As the cup was dipped, the entire water of the massive lake was miraculously sucked into the tiny vessel—a lesson that spiritual power overrides worldly arrogance.
- The Submission: The track concludes with the stories of the Lion (who bowed down), the Fire (that turned cold), and the Prisoner (whose chains broke), proving that nature itself submits to the friends of Allah (Awliya).

Intro: The Spiritual Arrival
(Oh… The river of Light flows…)
(In the mercy of Ajmer, there is radiance…)
(Khwaja… Patron of the Poor…)
(Everywhere are the signs of His Power)
(It is only by His mercy that the garden blooms)
(Mercy is blooming… Mercy is blooming…)
The Command of the Prophet ﷺ
(When the Prophet called, the soul found peace)
(The land of Ajmer received the Light of the Prophet)
(In a dream, the Messenger of Allah commanded…)
(“Go to Ajmer, show the path to my people”)
(O Prophet, Peace be upon you… O Messenger, Peace be upon you…)
The Transformation
(Seeing a mystic dervish in the market of Samarkand)
(Just one glance happened… and Moinuddin’s heart transformed)
(The glance that awakened the heart, made him independent of the world)
(One Glance… One glance of a Saint changes destiny…)
The Miracle of Nourishment: The Cow
(One day, near Ana Sagar lake, a cowherd passed by…)
(There were small calves in the herd, none capable of giving milk…)
(Khwaja said: “Son, give me a little milk…”)
(The cowherd spoke: “These are all young calves… what milk will you get from them, Master…”)
(Khwaja smiled and signaled: “Try milking this calf…”)
(It was a world of wonder… the young cow’s udders filled up…)
(Milk flowed such that— the thirst of forty water-skins could be quenched!)
(By the edge of Ana Sagar… a river of milk flowed out…)
The Conflict: Ana Sagar
(But… the Rulers did not like this. Soldiers put a guard on the water!)
(Soldiers, in anger, stopped the water of Ana Sagar…)
(Hearts were broken with thirst… there were tears in eyes…)
(Khwaja said: “Go, fill the water-skin…”)
The Climax: The Ocean in the Cup
(As soon as the water-skin was filled— People watched in terror:)
(It was seen that the massive Ana Sagar shrank…)
(As if the entire river hid inside that small water-skin!)
(The Ocean was filled into the Cup! My Khwaja performed a miracle!)
The Rapid Fire Miracles
(A Lion came on the path… Khwaja said: “Leave the path!”)
(The Lion bowed its head… and quietly stepped back!)
(A prisoner cried all night… by morning, chains broke!)
(Bonds are broken… by the name of Khwaja…)
(Enemies lit a fire… but the fire got scared!)
(Even fire shows respect… the status of a Saint is unique…)
Finale: The Dhamaal
(And then… the whole of Hindustan called out…)
(Sultan of Ajmer… Beloved of Hearts…)
(Guide of the Fakirs… Light of Miracles…)
(Khwaja… Ghareeb Nawaz…)
Dua
(Whoever connects to your door, their destiny shines…)
(Keep your gaze upon us all…)
